Putin says to decide on 2018 presidential elections soon

MOSCOW, Dec 6 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday he would decide whether he will run for presidency in 2018 in the near future.

“I understand that this decision should be made in the near future, and it will be made soon,” he said.

Russian presidential elections are scheduled for March 18, 2018.
